Singer/songwriter Stephanie Layne maintains a unique position within the country music spectrum with her unforgettable performance style and her distinctive country sound.

This native Minnesotan began her live music journey in the Twin Cities area, touring throughout much of the Midwest, Southeast, and Mountain states playing many esteemed venues and independent country music festivals. Layne was inspired to move to Nashville after winning the 2004 Horizon Award at the North American Country Music Association Internationals in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Layne has proven to be a viable contender in country music as demonstrated by the whirlwind of activity in her career over the past couple of years. Along with her numerous solo live performances, Layne has also been the opening act for several country artists including Terri Clark, Sawyer Brown, and Earl Thomas Conley. Her well-crafted songs and dynamic live performances have won the attention of fans in some of Nashville's most popular venues, including The Wildhorse Saloon, The Bluebird Cafe, The French Quarter, Fuel, and The Nashville Palace.

For almost two years, Layne and her band packed in crowds at world famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge in historic downtown Nashville. Since her arrival in Music City, Layne has garnered artist endorsements by Peavey, Martin and Co., Sunset Ranch Designs, and Bray Saddlery. She's been featured in both regional and national publications such as Peavey's Monitor Magazine and Riff Magazine. Currently writing and recording,
